Film Festival highlights the Civil Rights movement

On Feb. 5 and 7, Johnson Space Center’s African-American Employee Resource Group (AAERG) invited the JSC family to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with a documentary film festival.
The AAERG showed two films from the PBS series Eyes on the Prize, America’s Civil Rights movement: “No Easy Walk” and "Mississippi Is This America?” Complimentary popcorn and cookies accentuated the lively event, which featured mingling and conversation afterward.
