The Texas Independence Trail Ride, a precursor to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, carved its way through the Johnson Space Center on Feb. 25. Arriving on-site via Gate 2, the trail riders swung by Fifth Street, Avenue D and Second Street before making their way to the Gilruth Center and the JSC Child Care Center to entertain the tiny tots on our western roots and agricultural life. Go Texan Day on Feb. 27 topped off the rodeo-themed week for JSC team members.
