Thank you, JSC! Your donations add up

Thanksgiving is coming, and we want to say thank you to Johnson Space Center for donating to the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Over the last five years, JSC has donated more than $3.4 million! 

This year so far we’ve pledged more than $158,000. This is a great start, as we are at 25 percent of our goal. It shows just how generous JSC is in helping out our community. Please consider making your donation today and help us reach our goal of $625,000 by Dec. 11.

Speaking of Thanksgiving—much of our past donations have helped support charities that feed those in need. With the CFC, you can donate to our city’s food bank with either a one-time donation just in time for the holidays, or a sustained donation, so that each month you know you are helping to feed a family. 

Find a charity organization that supports the cause you believe in with the CFC charity search tool.

In as little as five minutes, you can make a donation. Here’s how:                                                                                                                                     

• Civil servants can donate through Employee Express
  1. Sign into your Employee Express account.
  2. Click on the “Combined Federal Campaign” link (second link on the left).
  3. Select your charities and contribution amount.
• Anyone can give a cash or check donation:
  1. Get a pledge card from your division secretary or your CFC coordinator.
  2. Fill out a pledge card with your charity selection and contribution amount.
  3. Turn in your card with your check/cash to your CFC coordinator. The yellow slip is yours for tax-deductible records.
