Every morning, the enticing aroma of sizzling ingredients and spices fills the air inside building 3 at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. From 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. every Monday to Thursday, Fuego is the go-to spot for fresh, Latin-inspired breakfast.

At the heart of this culinary sensation is Silvana, a passionate chef who prides herself on delivering exceptional customer service and delicious cuisine. Crafted with fresh halal meat and locally sourced ingredients, her food is a testament to her dedication to quality and taste.

“Cooking is truly an act of love,” said Silvana. “I make food with love that includes a blend of color, spice, and flavor."

Whether you are starting your day at Johnson with a breakfast taco or indulging in lunch at Fuego’s food truck, Silvana is here to offer an unforgettable and delicious meal. Customers can customize their own halal or vegan tacos, choosing from a variety of ingredients like potatoes, roasted vegetables, sausage, and refried beans.

But what makes Fuego truly hot? It’s the perfect combination of fresh ingredients, creativity, and Silvana's unwavering commitment to her craft. Her Uruguayan roots and love for food seamlessly blend into her culinary creations, making each dish a unique fusion of flavors.

Fuego’s impact is felt beyond the taste buds. “Our employees rave about the delicious food and how friendly and passionate Silvana is,” said Greg Della Longa, Starport associate operations manager. "It's not just the food that draws people in; it's the warmth and enthusiasm that Silvana brings to every meal she serves.”

“I never thought I would be at NASA,” said Silvana. “I love what I do and enjoy every moment of it.”
