Amidst a Zombie Apocalypse … Safety and Health Day
by Catherine Ragin Williams | 2019-11-20
Oct. 31 was not only Halloween, but Safety and Health Day at NASA’s Johnson Space Center—albeit with a ghoulish twist. Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Johnson team members visited the Gilruth Center to take part in what’s been an annual tradition at the center. Booths from organizations both on-site and off congregated in the ballroom, gym and Live Oak Pavilion to educate attendees about specific safety and health topics. Also popular was the “Why I Work Safely” badge booth hosted by the JSC Safety and Health Action Team, InBody body analysis, chair massages, workout demos by Starport and the opportunity to sample plant-based juices.
