2018 Inventions and Contributions Board Award Ceremony
2018-12-10
On Nov. 6, the Inventions and Contributions Board (ICB) Award Ceremony was held in Building 1 at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. These highly regarded annual awards have been granted by the NASA ICB Board, which was established—along with NASA—in the Space Act of 1958.
The ICB ceremony allows Johnson to share the excitement of its technology and innovation work. Its mission is to reward NASA employees with peer recognition and, in some instances, cash awards for significant contributions to aerospace activities in the fields of science and technology.
The JSC Exceptional Software Awards recognize software that has demonstrated outstanding value to accomplishing the JSC mission (though not a part of the ICB). Two teams were awarded and presented with an individual and group award certificate.
